How much should you bend from the hips in the golf swing is an easy thing to accomplish. But first you must determine your knee flex for each golf club in your bag, including your putter. Because not only are the hips bent, but the knees as well. The easiest way to figure out how much to bend the hips is to grab your club and hold it out in front of you. Flex your knees to the appropriate amount and slowly lower the club to the ground by ONLY bending your hips…nothing else. Once you get to the ground, you have the PERFECT amount of bend in your hips for the golf swing.
How easy was that? If you liked the simplicity of this golf tip for beginner golfers, you’ll definitely want to check out the Beginner Golf Guide to accomplish the complete golf swing so easy you won’t believe it.
